Some Advice to Sloane from Rory Gilmore

So Sloane Stephens told SI Baseline that she didn't know that her Serena comments were "on the record" here.  So 

LORELAI: What? We were just talking. She won’t print any of it.
RORY: Why? Was it off the record?
LORELAI: Yeah. Technically. It wasn’t about the inn.
RORY: But did you say ‘it’s off the record’?
LORELAI: No.
RORY: Then it’s fair game, so she can print all of it.
